Hit and Miss

Who wants to be a sore winner?

Hit and Miss surveys Tom Polo’s projects over the last two years, exploring extensions of portraiture that engage with a corrosive anxiety about the human condition. Through painting, performance and installation Tom channels the aspirations of contemporary society while hinting at self-doubt.

Tom's initial idea was to misprint a poster... as his work is wonderfully quirky we suggested he create a humungous die-cut of his paintings, cut from one sheet of card and cleverly sewn together into a picture book that is uniquely Toms. Even his weird badge / invite was cut from the same sheet...

We love it!

Shortlisted in the 2011 Desktop Create awards.
